Hi All

Here is my piece for Delicious Doodles this week. Our theme is Lace. The image I have used is from Delicious Doodles and is called Leather and Lace.  It is coloured with pro markers.

Smeard and Smudged Blog Hop

 Hi All

It's time again for the members monthly blog hop at Smeared and Smudged the theme this month is Anything Goes. I have altered a box.  The image I have used is from Smeared Ink and is from the set Specimen Jar.  It is coloured with pro markers. The papers I have used to cover the box are from a free download site sorry can't think of the name at the moment. I have edged the box with blue ink. And used black gems round the image, and a extra butterfly was added to the corner of the box.

DominoArt

Delicious Doodles

Punkyougirl

There is a new Challenge Blog starting called PunkyouGirl. http://punkyougirl.blogspot.co.uk/   It is going to be a Dark Themed Challenge Blog.  At the moment they have a DT call out so I have decided to try out for the team. Below is a list I have taken from the  PunkyouGirl Blog on how to apply.

Bio

My name is Jane and I am nearly 60 years old. I enjoy all types of craft, card making, altered items etc. I am a mother of 4,  (3 boys and 1 girl)  and grandmother to 15 and a bit.  I am owned by 2 cats Lila and Cloudy.
I work as a support worker in a care home.

I am at the moment a proud DT member of Delicious Doodles.

Delicious Doodles

Quoth the Raven

Hi All

Today I have an  altered project to show you that I have made for the challenge at Quoth the Raven http://poequoththeraven.blogspot.co.uk/ .  I have altered a candle and candle stick. All the images I have used are from the Quoth the Raven set from Smeared Ink.  The images on the candle were printed direct onto tissue paper, just tape one end of the tissue paper to a piece of A4 card and it goes through the printer with no problems. They were then cut out and using a heat gun and a piece of  greaseproof paper stuck to the candle.  The images for the candle stick were printed onto card and then cut out and glued onto the candle stick.  The only colour used was on the heart and was done with a red pro-marker.

 

The candle is a 3 1/2 inch square and the candle stick is 12 inch's high.

Domino Art Challenge

Hi All

Today I have a Domino Book to share with you. I have made my Domino Book for the first challange at Domino Art Challenge  http://dominoartblog.blogspot.co.uk/   Rick St Dennis hads sponsered the first challenge and kindly provided some free images. I have used the Easter images. I have used pro-markers, whisper pens and sharpies to colour my images. After I had coloured the line of images  I fussy cut them out then glued to a strip of black card. I cut out the 2 end images to use on the front and back of my book. Hope you like it.

Smudgy Antics

Hi All

I have made this card for the challenge at Smudgy Antics who's theme is "Crumble It". I first crumbled a blue piece of tissue paper and placed it a piece of black card. I then used another piece of black card that has been embossed. I then very carefully crumbled a piece of blue metal that had also been embossed. My image is from Smeared Ink and is one of the Grumpies, it has been coloured with pro-markers. I have also added to my Grumpie a set of wings and a crown.

Delicious Doodles

Hi All

Its time for Delicious Doodles again and this week our challenge is " Flowers for Spring ". The image I have used is a new one from Delicious Doodles called " Crocus  + Butterfly ".  I printed the image four times and coloured them all with pro-markers. One image was used as the base and  with the  other three  the flowers and butterfly were fussy cut out. I used one butterfly to decopage the butterfly on the base image and the flower's were decopaged three times.  I used the other two butterfly's going across the card.
